Please note that previous applicants will not be considered for this round of recruitment. We are currently looking for a full time Lifeguard to join us at Loughborough University Swimming Pool. Here at Loughborough University, we continue to strive to achieve world leading student participation levels in sport and fitness by offering a vibrant and inspirational experience. The Swimming Pool also provides a world class training environment for Aquatics GB and British Triathlon. This is your opportunity to be part of the team that makes great things happen! It would be advantageous to have a valid RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification or equivalent and a first aid qualification but not essential as training will be provided for the successful candidate showing other attributes we are looking for. This is an excellent opportunity to gain your RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification while working in an inspiring environment. We are looking for an exceptional individual capable of providing a safe environment and who delivers an excellent customer service experience that exceeds expectations. You will require excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be enthusiastic, punctual, reliable and enjoying working within a team. A shift system which includes working a combination of early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holiday/closure days is currently in operation and there is a shift allowance of 12.5% applicable to the full time positions to reflect this.
